After shave with an after shave splash
We see with our customers that the use of an aftershave balm is somewhat more popular than a classic aftershave splash. Try experimenting with an old-fashioned alcohol-containing after shave. Alcohol has a slightly drying effect. Use an alum block

Rub your face after shaving with a small amount of talcum powder. Talcum powder softens the skin and absorbs moisture. This greatly reduces sweat and moisture problems. Super handy when the weather is warm.

Scrubbing with a scrub gel
Your skin, just like spekkoek, consists of different layers. The most important and outer layer is the epidermis. The epidermis consists of dead skin cells. During the day, dust, soot particles, and other dirt accumulate here. Clean your skin once or twice a week with a scrub gel. By scrubbing, you scrape away a thin layer of the epidermis. Use a scrub gel with a fine scrub of walnut shell or sand and clay.
First wet the face, apply a small amount of scrub gel and then distribute and massage it on your cheeks, nose, temples, and forehead with a gentle, circular motion. Rinse off with lukewarm water after 1 minute. Some barbers or beauticians recommend scrubbing to prevent ingrown hairs. Note, do not scrub immediately before or after shaving. This may cause razor irritation.
