The classic razor is completely back. Many men prefer to shave with this razor. It shaves more pleasantly, prevents ingrown hairs, and the razor blades are many times cheaper than modern razor blades.
What should you pay attention to when purchasing a safety razor?
Safety razors with a closed comb are the most common razors. Suitable for beginner shavers and shaving light to normal beard growth. Also suitable for sensitive skin. Razors with an open comb shave a bit more directly or "aggressively." These are suitable for experienced shavers and shaving normal to heavy (coarse beard hair) beard growth. The razor with a butterfly closure has a light shaving head and is suitable for light beard growth. With the safety razor with an adjustable shaving head, the cutting angle of the double edge razor blade and the "gap" (= opening of the shaving head) can be adjusted. After a few practice sessions, you will want nothing more than to shave with the classic razor.

Great device, I was well advised by an employee which razor to use.
After years of using Mach3 blades, I was attracted to this quality/more sustainable/elegant razors such as the Safety Razor. In the long term, the money will save and I think it has more charm than a plastic knife from the supermarket. In addition, the only thing you throw away is also easy to recycle. I initially thought that there would be a steep learning curve with many wounds (also bought an alum pen), but I have to say that it was very bad at the R89. I bought this because, according to the site I found as a reasonable forgiving and not very aggressive, he is booked. After a week of practice I don't get my face as smooth as with a MACH3 but I think that's a matter of time. Perhaps I will also try a Merkur or other blades than Muhle's. But I think I'm 'OM'!
