Boar bristles have a slightly massaging effect and feel a bit stiffer than badger hair or synthetic hairs. After use, these hairs do become somewhat softer.

Usage
Make the brush slightly moist with lukewarm water, lather with shaving soap, move the brush back and forth over the face, rinse the brush clean with warm water after use, and finally hang the brush upside down in a brush holder.
