The cowhide leather strop is the finishing touch for getting the straight razor razor-sharp again. The strop can be used as an alternative to the shaving strap. The strap can be tightened firmly by means of the tension mechanism.
The strop is ideal for maintaining straight razors on both sides. Maintenance can be performed on the two different sides of the strap with different sharpening pastes. Optionally use Red or Green stropping paste for optimal sharpening of the razor. Apply a little of this stropping paste to the green side of the strop. The leather side without paste is intended for stropping.
