What should you pay attention to when purchasing a safety razor?
Safety razors with closed combs are the most common razors. Suitable for the novice shaver and shaving light to normal beard growth. Also suitable for sensitive skin. Razors with an open comb provide a more direct or 'aggressive' shave. These are suitable for the experienced shaver and shaving normal to heavy (stiff beard hairs) beard growth. The razor with a butterfly closure has a light shaving head and is suitable for light beard growth. With the safety razor with an adjustable shaving head, the cutting angle of the double edge razor blade and the 'gap' (= opening of the shaving head) can be adjusted. This allows you to adjust the degree of 'aggressiveness' to your personal shaving technique while shaving. This type of razor is suitable for any type of beard growth or skin. In addition, the weight of the razor also counts: a light razor for light beard growth; a heavy razor for normal to heavy beard growth.

Usage

First soap the beard hairs thoroughly
Hold the razor at an angle of approximately 30 degrees to the skin
Press the knife lightly on the skin
Shave with the beard hairs
At the neck area, pull the skin taut with the other hand.

After a few practices, you will want nothing more than to shave with the classic razor.

what a topper
After years of using the Muhle R41 (very aggressive) and DE89, only purchased the 3one6. This shaves so effectively that I do not feel the knife and therefore slides smoothly over the skin where there is a much smoother result than the DE89 and my Muhle, the irritation after shaving is really 0.0. Always surprise me how smoothly the 3one6 shaves and have never had such a perfect shaving experience and results. Definitely use this knife with the feather for the best experience. My experience is that it absolutely does not shave like the DE89 but many times better. thick 10. principin your only with (Double Edge) Shaving, make sure that despite you do not feel anything with this knife you absolutely do not want to put pressure on your skin, let the weight of this knife do its work.

Great knife.
I have been shaved for years with the DE89 where I finally said goodbye to my expensive disposable blades. The 3one6 is a beautiful knife and yes, it skims even nicer than the DE89. Although the knives are almost identical, the shaving experience is really better. I don't think there is a better knife.
