Excellent razor, but really requires getting used to first times; Shavers particularly short.
After years of using the Muhle R41 (very aggressive) and DE89, only purchased the 3one6. This shaves so effectively that I do not feel the knife and therefore slides smoothly over the skin where there is a much smoother result than the DE89 and my Muhle, the irritation after shaving is really 0.0. Always surprise me how smoothly the 3one6 shaves and have never had such a perfect shaving experience and results. Definitely use this knife with the feather for the best experience. My experience is that it absolutely does not shave like the DE89 but many times better. thick 10. principin your only with (Double Edge) Shaving, make sure that despite you do not feel anything with this knife you absolutely do not want to put pressure on your skin, let the weight of this knife do its work.
A small downside: the 3one6 Razor does not fit in the Razor & Shaving Brush Stand (RHM8711) by Edwin Jagger. That is a bit of a shame ...
I have been shaved for years with the DE89 where I finally said goodbye to my expensive disposable blades. The 3one6 is a beautiful knife and yes, it skims even nicer than the DE89. Although the knives are almost identical, the shaving experience is really better. I don't think there is a better knife.
