I am very impressed with the quality of the shaving soaps of Castle Forbes. The shaving result when using their shaving creams seems to me that a little better compared to the creams of traditional competitors. 1445 is their version of the refreshing classic Fougère scent. Maybe a bit traditional, but classics are also becoming classic for a certain reason!
Castle Forbes is one of the big three in the list of large British soap and odor brands, next to Truefitt and Hill and Taylor of Old Bondstreet. C&F distinguishes itself by pure components and no artificial additives. This sturdy cream is a special, layered soap. The thirsty soap first smells fresh, almost fougere-like, but after frothing there is a wood tone that stimulates the senses. The scent is complex, accessible and offers everything to enjoy. The soap quickly foams into a full dense foam. The foam is well caring and leads the scraper along the grassy meadows. A must for those who want a good soap with a versatile and nuanced scent.
