First, wet the face with lukewarm water. Apply shaving cream with a shaving brush and whip into a lather in a shaving bowl or on the face. Lather the face well, let it sit briefly, then shave.

I don't know if it is up to the sheep wool fat, but this cream has very nice lubricating properties. My knife glides so easily down my cheeks that I wonder if I still need a pre-shave oil. I no longer need an aftershave. Super easy to make a fat foam. It smells a bit like sheep, and because it is much softer than the other Meissner Cremes, I will go through it faster.
